It looks like Vegas is a go!
We’ll be taking a limo to the airport (about an hour away) to get to Vegas. That should be fun – there’ll be 10 of us so I guess it’s an SUV limo. Fun, fun.
I had a chance to have coffee with a buddy of mine yesterday. It was a good time, then I had to go back to work to give a demo of our software to a potential client. The demo went really well.
We have this new tool in house that allows me to take control of a client’s PC across the internet – which is really cool. I took control of his PC and showed him how to use the program. He’s really excited about the product now and will likely buy it. Cool. The program goes for $4000 a pop so we only need to sell a few of them to recuperate our initial investment and then the rest goes to support and profit – yaaa!
The transfer job that I picked up is going really well. I have about 16 of the 60 reels transferred so far and they’re looking pretty good so far. At that rate it should only be 5 days of work and at $500 that’s a pretty good ROI.
This weekend we’re headed to Mike’s place for dinner. Mom’s birthday and Mike’s birthday are next week so I guess we’re having the dinner ahead of time. Mom’s gift is still in the mail – I hope it’s here in time for the party… hmmmm. Bummer.
A friend of mine found out yesterday that his Dad is dying. They don’t expect him to last much longer. My friend’s sister is on her way up from Honduras to say goodbye – I hope that the flight makes it in in time.
I’m thankful that my Mom and Dad are in good health
I’m thankful that my transfer job is going well
I’m thankful that the weather is finally looking like spring
I know that God will comfort my friend in his time of need
